CAMP GEAR LIST
Name everything (e.g drink bottle and its lid). Children do not need NEW gear/clothes
YOU WILL NEED 2 BAGS.
One – your school bag. The other – your main gear bag.
ALL BRING
Bag 1: School Bag:
In your school back-pack you will need to carry:
 packed morning tea and lunch for Day 1 in a lunch box
 plastic drink bottle full (no leaks)
 named sunhat
 insect repellent
 one warm jersey
 sun block
 rain jacket
You will need sensible walking shoes and socks on your feet.
Bag 2: In your gear bag you will need:


















four pairs of shorts
three pairs of long trousers
togs
two towels
plastic bags (3)
five t-shirts
underwear for each day
pyjamas
spare shoes
handkerchiefs / tissues
five pairs socks
torch + new batteries (separate)
jersey / jumper
pillow & pillow case
sleeping bag
a single sheet (fitted preferably) – MUST HAVE
tooth brush / paste / soap / toiletries (in their own little bag please)
MEDICATION: This needs to be in a sealed container / bag with the child’s
name clearly on the bag and medication. There needs to be clear
instructions regarding when and how to take the medication and what for.
Medication will be issued to the child by the dedicated camp medical
person. It must be handed into the teacher before leaving school.

We are asking that every family provide us with
either one item of home baking or two packets of
biscuits and a bag of fruit.
EXTRAS
Travel games, sunglasses, good book, drawing
pad/book, pen/pencils.
DO NOT BRING
Radio, cd player, ipod, PSP, knives, electronic
games, lighters, cell phones, jewellery, matches,
water bombs, water pistols, sweets / chips etc,
canned / bottled drink, camera.
