 Several EU financed projects have
produced energy-related resources to be
used in the housing sector…
…information is there…but needs to be
disseminated and used…
 European Social Housing Organisations,
due to their size (over 25 million homes in
the EU), and nature (non-for-profit with
long-term commitment to residents and
stock) should use these resources and
drive the Energy transition…
 How?....POWER HOUSE EUROPE

POWER HOUSE Toolkits
 The engine of the project are the
National/Regional POWER HOUSE
Toolkits…
…made up of selected and tested Resources
and Best Practices adapted and
customised to the particular needs and
conditions of Social Housing
Organisations in each country.
 The maximum deployment of the
Toolkits is promoted at local level
through POWER HOUSE Platforms.

POWER HOUSE Platforms
 POWER HOUSE Platforms will implement
dissemination plans including, among
other actions, workshops, conferences
and study visits in order to facilitate
multi-level knowledge sharing between
Social Housing Organisations.
 POWER HOUSE Platforms will also serve
as a forum for dialogue to promote
cooperation and exchange between,
among others, European Social Housing
Organisations, employees, residents,
ministries, local authorities, architects,
building material suppliers, energy
suppliers, energy agencies etc…

The POWER HOUSE Website is a one-stopshop knowledge base at European and
National levels containing:
 Latest News and Events on energy issues
 Resources and Case Study collection;
 A window on the activities of the
National/Regional Platforms;
 A virtual Forum for the exchange of
information an the creation of
Partnerships between SHOs.
