Crocodiles & Tadpoles
This is a great game for practising stopping and making the pony
walk faster – or maybe a little trot.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
Four poles and four cones
ARENA SET UP - Place the cones and poles as illustrated below,
making sure there is sufficient room for the pony to halt in the gap
between the poles.
GAME
 Between the poles is a pond.
 In one pond are tadpoles and in the other are crocodiles.
 The rider must go round the cones to get from one pond to
the other.
 The rider stops in the tadpole pond to admire the baby frogs
and
 Goes faster through the crocodile pond to avoid being eaten!
 The rider can choose which type of pond it is.
 Once a rider has gone through the first pond the next rider
can start.
