About Budapest Tech:
Budapest Tech was founded in 2000, as the integration of 3 former universities, presently, there are nearly
12,000 enrolled students. John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics is the first “pure” informatics faculty in
Hungary, awarded diplomas are equivalent with the BEng degree according to the IEE (The Institution of
Engineering and Technology) in the United Kingdom.
In the last decade, miscellaneous statistics have presented the faculty as the second best qualified and
comprehensive in Hungary.
