Concentrate on the game, you will not be able to effect a bad decision, do not let it affect you Control your temper. Verbal abuse of officials or other players, deliberately, distracting or provoking an opponent is not acceptable or permitted in any sport Work equally hard for yourself and your team. Your teams’ performance will benefit, so will you Be a good sport. Applaud all good plays whether they are by your team, or the opponents Treat all players as you would like to be treated. Do not interfere with, bully or take unfair advantage of another player Co-operate with your coach, team-mates and opponents. Without them, there would be no competition Play for fun and not just to please parents and coaches Concentrate on the game your coach has asked you to play. Recognise that the Coaches are following a long term programme of development for your child Do not coach from the side lines. The only information to the players will come from the coach Remember that children learn best by example.
