UIL ONE ACT PLAY INFORMATION
Students_______________________________________________________________________________
On Wednesday the UIL One Act Play contestants will meet Mrs. Vosburgh at 12:49 in the HMS
auditorium. They will practice their play until 2:30. Bring your costumes and props.
At that time we will get on the bus and head to Liberty ISD for rehearsals. Our time slot is between
3:30 and 5PM.
*Afterwards rehearsal we will stop at Jax Hamburgers on Main Street in Liberty for dinner.
Bring money for dinner. I have attached a menu on Google Classroom.
We will be back at HMS approx. 6:30. The students will call as we are leaving Liberty TX
*On Saturday, Jan 21st everyone must be at HMS in the auditorium at 9AM dressed and ready to
practice. Afterwards we will get on the bus and go to Liberty ISD. We are scheduled to perform at
12/Noon. Phones are not allowed. I will collect phones for safe keeping until we get ready to leave.
Our performance is approx. 40 minutes.
Parents and family members are welcome. Admission is $5. I will have a sign out sheet for parents to
sign if you want to take your child home. I know several students have other obligations.
If I have to stay for the results we may not be back to HMS until 5PM. When we see exactly what time
we will be heading back to HMS I will have the students call.
This is an awesome play. The students are amazing! Thank you for all your hard work.
