Packing plants Generally, it’s no problem to transport plants in the removal vehicle. However, plants are never covered by insurance. Before you start to pack your plants, remove any excess water from the pots and let the plants dry out a bit more than usual. Please do not water the plants during the last two days before moving day. Put the small and middle-sized plants with their planters and/or cachepots next to each other in a removal box. Put a bit of paper between the pots so that they do not touch each other causing unsightly scratch marks. It is best if you can still close the lid of the box without damaging the plants. And don’t forget to write PLANTS in big letters on the box. If the plants are grown higher the box must remain open. In this case, you should fold up the parts that form the box’s lid to a vertical position and connect them using adhesive tape to protect your plants. For big plants, there will be a suitable place in the lorry on the day of removal.
