Happy Spring!!!
Dear Parents and families,
Hopefully the summer will approach us quickly, as we get ready for
graduation and summer camp. The following is a list of some activities
that we have scheduled for our children this month:
April is Math Awareness Month. We’ll show our students that math
exists everywhere in their environment. They are going to play math
related games. By the end of the month, our students will be having a
blast with math!
April is also National Poetry Month. We will introduce several
short poems to our Preschoolers, and we welcome you the parents and
family members to come and share your poetry books.
April 9th – 15th is National Library Week. The preschoolers will
learn and discuss what materials are available at the library - books,
magazines, DVDs and more. They will visit our library and explore.
We encourage the parents to get library cards for your children and let
them experience the wonder of all the materials available to them.
April 10th-Passover begins at sundown.
April 14th -FGA will be closed for Staff Training
April 22nd is Earth Day - We will celebrate Earth Day for the week,
to increase awareness of recycling and saving energy to protect the
only planet we have.
April 23rd – 29th is also the Week of the Young Child. Children will
be encouraged to bring in their favorite book (please label the book)
and dress as their favorite character in the book.
April 24th is Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. We are
going to transform the day to “work day” for the children. We'll talk
about the jobs the parents hold, different businesses and job
responsibilities.

Dear Parents,
As always, we have just a few reminders on
the following topics. If any questions please
do not hesitate to approach the front desk:
Summer Camp activities are fully booked.
We have scheduled lots of fun with
musicians, singers, puppeteers, magicians,
educators in different areas and many other
activities. Trips are reserved for preschool
and pre-k children only.
The calendar will be emailed to you in the
first week of April and will be available in
downloads off our website as well.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are
scheduled for this month. Please look for
notices posted on your child’s classroom
door. Phone Conferences are also available.
Pre-K students will be tested in May with
Conferences to follow
Graduation will take place at school
Pre-3 - Thursday, 6/15/17 3:30pm
Pre-K - Thursday, 6/22/17 3:30pm
Updated Immunization Records must be
in your child's file.
Picture Day is scheduled for 5/17 & 5/18.
Our Pre-K children will be photographed in
their graduation caps and gowns as well.
