Dear Parent
As we come to the end of another busy but very enjoyable School Term I would like to
inform Parent/Guardians of a recent building development in our School – a new Soft
Play Surface has been installed in the Inner Playground Area. Indeed since the
beginning of the current academic year there has been a considerable amount of
maintenance work undertaken by the Education Authority (Belfast Region) in our
school. We are very proud of the work that has been completed in school and such
improved facilities can only enhance the educational experience of all the pupils and
augers very well for the long term future of Harding Memorial Primary School.
Token Collection
We are still continuing to collect Sainsbury Active Kids Tokens. All tokens should be
posted in the box located beside the front school entrance.
Bike It Breakfast
Congratulations to all those pupils who attended our school Bike It Breakfast on
Friday 31st March 2017. Despite the horrendous weather over 70 pupils attended
school by either bike or scooter. A particular word of gratitude is expressed to both
Beth Harding from Bike It for her support of this very worthwhile whole school
project and to Pauline Thompson from the Education Authority (Belfast Region) for
her support with the breakfast catering arrangements.
Easter Holiday Vacation Period
 School will close for the Easter Vacation period all pupils from Primary 1 to
Primary 7 on Friday 7th April at 12.15pm.
 Friday 7th April 2017 will be a Non Uniform Day for all pupils.
 School Dinners will not be available for pupils on this date.
 School will restart at normal time of 8.45/8.55am for all Primary 1 – Primary 7
