Abstract/Abridgement
A device comprising a processor and a computer
program for facilitating a risk assessment are
disclosed. The processor is programmed with
instructions to identify a first process associated
with an organization; identify a first risk associated
with the process; and assign the first risk a first
plurality of loss probability distributions including at
least three loss probability distributions to thereby
create the information for use in facilitating the risk
assessment. The first process is part of a process
flow. The processor is further programmed to
identify a second process associated with the first
process; identify a second risk associated with the
second process; and obtain a second plurality of
loss probability distributions assigned to the second
risk. The operation of processing the first plurality
of loss probability distributions comprises
aggregating the first plurality of loss probability
distributions and at least one of the second plurality
of loss probability distributions to obtain at least one
resultant loss probability distribution.
