Towards Old Canberra House ANU Campus: Old Canberra House (Conference dinner venue – 03 Feb.) Towards the Tank UNSW Canberra (Computational Intelligence and Design Optimization workshop venue – 05 Feb.): LT06, Building 32 (Lecture Theatres North) Getting to UNSW Canberra Please note that the conference attendees will need to arrange their own transport from CBD to UNSW Canberra (located inside Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA), Northcott Drive) and back for the workshop on 05 February 2016. Following are some of the options: Cab/Drive: The campus is located approximately 5.5km from the CBD, about 10 mins. drive. There are several routes, a common one being Cooyong St. Ainslie Av. Limestone Av. Fairbarn Av. Northcott Dr. Cabs could be booked by calling 132227, online at https://www.canberraelite.com.au/ or hailed directly on streets (typically they’re easily available in the city). They’ll cost approximately 20 AUD one way. Public buses: ACTION buses are a convenient alternative to get to UNSW Canberra/ADFA from the city. Bus number 10 leaves from Platform 9 in the city interchange and takes the shortest route (approx. 11 minutes), ~4 AUD one way. A snapshot of the schedule is given below, with most convenient times highlighted. The bus stops other than interchanges are signal bus-stops, so make sure to either signal before the stop or request the driver while getting on-board to let you know when you’ve reached ADFA.
