Listen to him.” (Matthew 17:1-9) Dear Friends: Last weekend we were very happy to welcome Father Mike back to Saint Jude after 3 months away for surgery and recovery. Thank you for your continued prayers for him and for all who are sick. As I mentioned at Mass, he will celebrate 50 years as a priest this year. We are in the initial stages of planning a little something for him and will keep you posted. We also formally welcomed our RCIA candidates and catechumens during the Rite of Sending at the 4:00pm Mass. Our congratulations to them and our thanks for their witness! Please continue to keep them in your prayers. I also attended our Catholic Daughters’ Tea and Open House on Sunday afternoon. The entire Parish Hall was decorated in an Irish theme and looked great. The ladies spoke about the mission of the Catholic Daughters and took questions from visitors. Thanks again to our CDA for all that you do for our parish! We are looking for volunteers to assist in the taping of the Mass each weekend. You can do this work at the Mass that you attend! Training will be offered along with a step by step guide.
