Better Align Standard and Actual Costs;
Easily Address Imbalances
In today’s competitive marketplace, manufacturing organisations like yours
are struggling to get visibility into the areas of the business that impact
their bottom line. You need insight into productivity costs, profitability, and
the ability to compare production with what is happening in your workforce.
Key Benefits
In order to stay competitive and maintain efficiency standards, manufacturers
need to control the variance between standard costs and actual costs.
When actual costs are significantly higher than standard costs, you could
be experiencing production inefficiencies that negatively impact your
profitability. And when actual costs are significantly lower than standard
costs, there may be an opportunity to lower production cost standards and
price your products more competitively.
>>GET ON-DEMAND VISIBILITY into consolidated workforce and operational data
But too often, your ability to identify and act upon these labour variances has
been just out of reach, made more difficult by time-consuming requirements
for integrating data from disparate or multiple systems. The data is there,
whether in workforce management solutions, ERP or production systems.
What you need is the means to pull the resources into a central dashboard
for analysis and decision making.
>>GAIN VALUABLE INSIGHT into trends,
issues, and anomalies to drive continuous improvement
>>MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS based
on historical analysis and up-to-date
metrics
Get visibility into actual vs. standard costs
The Labour Cost Variance Plug-In, powered by Workforce Analytics™, takes your
organisation’s Workforce Central® data and combines it with third-party data from
ERP or other production sources. The result gives executives and managers visibility
into your most critical information: cost. The Labour Cost Variance Plug-In is a
manager’s one source for determining how well standard costs and actual costs are
aligned, and addressing areas that are unbalanced to quickly resolve discrepancies.
The Labour Cost Variance Plug-In gives managers insight at multiple levels and
views, including cost center, shift, and position. This ability to slice the data in
multiple ways means that managers can easily determine where the variance is out
of alignment.
