2016 MLACC MEN’S LEAGUE

The Teams that competed last year will be able to remain together and compete again this year.
Each team will have a team Captain, though it does not have to be the same Captain as last year. Captains will be
responsible for setting lineups every week and turning into Pro Shop before the Tuesday of League play.
Every player has the chance to stay on their original team, or may re-enter the draft if they so choose.
New teams are welcome to join.
Teams will be of at least seven players, as four players will play each week in match play matches.
The four players from each team will be rated as an A, B, C or D players for that week. They will in turn play another
team with an A, B, C, and D players. Unlike the start of last year, “A” players will only play “A” players, “B” players
will only play “B” players, “C” players will only play “C” players, and finally “D” players will only play “D” players.
The weekly matches will consist of a head to head match between two teams in the league. In one foursome, A &
B of Team 1 will play A & B of Team 2. In another foursome C & D of Team 1 will play C & D of Team 2. Each week
the teams will change as well as the combination of players. (ie., AC vs AC, BD vs BD, AD vs AD and BC vs BC)
Each foursome will play three matches, two head-to-head, and one four ball match. Each match is worth 1 point,
for a total of 3 points per foursome and six points total for the team match counting both foursomes. If a match is
tied each team receives a half (1/2) point each.
There will be 15 weeks of play, with two weeks of playoffs following the season. The top 4 teams make the playoffs.
There are cash payouts.
League starts at 6:00 PM every Tuesday and includes free beer after the round where we tell our stories. Food is
also available.
Men’s League is $40.00 for the whole year. Cash payouts are based on how many members are in the league.
Beer is included in the $40.00.
This is a great way to play golf and compete after work with your buddies and meet the other members at MLACC.
