Click on select a school and select DeQuincy High School.
Click on employees and select website for Michelle Lee.
Click on the Biology tab.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on Classifying Life
Project.
6. Choose Classifying Organisms Interactive Website 1 and participate in the
activity.
7. When you have finished the first one, choose Classifying Organisms
Interactive Website 2 and participate in the activity.

Create a radio broadcast informing the public about a new species discovered
in DeQuincy, Louisiana.

Each group will create a radio broadcast program using Audacity.
Go to cpsb.org.
Click on select a school and select DeQuincy High School.
Click on employees and select website for Michelle Lee.
Click on the Biology tab.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on Classifying
Organisms Project.
7. Use the following tabs to create your project: Audacity Tutorial, the
rubric for this project, and the species description.
8. Open the Audacity program (found on the desktop) and create your
project.
9. When you are finished, go my Blackboard site and upload the video to
the discussion board.

Using a peer-reviewed rubric as your guide, you will provide feedback to your peers about
the strengths and weaknesses of their project.
1. Go to the radio broadcast programs posted in my blackboard discussion
board.
2. Listen to the programs that were posted.
3. Review and critique each program using the rubric provided.
4. When critiquing, be sure to provide adequate comments on the areas
that were well executed and as well as comments on the areas that could
have been improved.
5. When all feedback has been posted, review the comments regarding your
project.
