Activity description Students will research hydrologic cycle and be able to explain it. Students will be able to define a watershed, river, lake, wetlands, and estuaries. Note: Watershed model will be helpful to demonstrate Activity Directions 1. Students will find a hydrologic cycle or teacher can give students a copy of one. 2. Have students work in pairs to view and make observations 3. Explain hydrologic cycle to students. 4. In small groups research different water ecosystems and record using web provided or any other organizer. Each circle will have a water ecosystem and the characteristics of each 5. Informally write down interesting facts about each water ecosystem. 6.
