The range of Interguard door interlock controllers provide comprehensive options for the interlocking of doors and other access control hardware such
as roller shutters, traffic bollards and gates. The use of any type of electronic lock is catered for as is integration with other systems including access
control and fire alarms. Specified in numerous industries including security, cash handling, jewellers and pharmaceuticals, Interguard delivers
a comprehensive solution.
Fully programmable, the IGPX8 allows the interlocking of up to 8 doors
in any combination imaginable. A simple programming system allows for
the on-site configuration of site specific requirements. This also allows
for the instant alteration of the interlocking to meet customers ever
changing needs.
Interlocking in its simplest form is for 2 doors where only one door can be open at any one time.

Door Interlocking Interguard IG222
Ideally suited to supervised operation, the IG222 is a 2 door interlock system with built in door
release controls. While the built in door release buttons can be used to release doors, additional
remote push buttons can be added if required. The integral key switch can be connected for
various uses including isolating local door controls and releasing or locking both doors. Requires a
separate 12 or 24vdc power supply.

The IG432 provides interlocking of 2, 3 or 4 doors. In addition to straight forward interlocking the 4 doors can be interlocked in two groups which share
a common door. i.e, one 2 door interlock and another 2 or 3 door interlock where one door of each group is actually the same door. A privacy function
is also available which with the use of an additional push button (S1726S) allows two of the doors to be locked for example as a changing room.

Vehicular access to a secure site
Controlling the entrance and exit of vehicles at secure sites is often
problematic. The use of traffic control powered barriers, bollards and
gates together with the necessary sequencing presents an unusual
challenge. Typically operation and sequencing of equipment can fall
to staff who can sometimes get it wrong.

The Advanced System is typically used in Care Homes, Hospitals, Schools and other public buildings. As well as the obvious money saving benefits the
Advanced Shared Bathroom Solution provides secure door control, preventing the bathroom being used as a passage way and giving total privacy for
its users. An incorporated advanced assistance alarm automatically releases a door if help is called for and prevents users from hogging the bathroom.
If two doors aren’t enough a third door for access from a corridor can be added.
Scenario occurs in numerous situations including, bathrooms in nursing homes and hospitals, and disabled toilet facilities within buildings such as
cinemas, theatres, schools were public and private access may be required. The Advanced Shared Bathroom Solution is a cost effective way allowing
two or three doors to be controlled and interlocked to maintain privacy and to ensure that the facility is available by either groups of users immediately
after use. The IGSFC controller along with the peripheral equipment also ensure that security cannot be breached. It is not possible to pass through
from one area to the other no matter what the circumstances. Users can only return to the area from which they came.
