• Day VFR —[60-1 3-6 (a)4(a)] Proficiency Based in required
maneuvers; demonstrating use of PFD, EIS, NRST, VOR and GPS Nav,
Terrain avoidance, and Traffic Systems (3 flights)
• IFR —[60-1 3-6 (a)4(b)] Proficiency based to include IAPs (ILS, VOR
and GPS), AP, FPL, WX (1 Flight)
• FAILURE MODES—Recognize and respond to G1000 failures (1 Flight)
• NIGHT OPS—Cockpit lighting… coping with emergencies. (1 night flight)
• CFI Privileges —[60-1 3-6(a)4(c)] “…complete the CAP Cessna G1000
transition syllabus for Flight Instructors that is given by a Cessna factory
trained instructor.”
• Check Pilots —[60-1 3-6(a)4(d)] “… factory trained or have provided a
minimum of 15 hours dual instruction in G1000 equipped airplanes.”
