At Staincliffe we are working hard to raise attainment in reading. Studies show that just 20 minutes of reading a day at home can have a real impact on children’s reading progress. It can be difficult to make time in a busy evening schedule, but the time spent listening to your child read can make a real difference. difference! Staincliffe’s Spectacular Science Day On Friday 5th February all children will be taking part in a School Science day. We have experiments for pupils to take part in, investigations to run and visitors sharing spectacular scientific demonstrations. Your child can wear non-school uniform or dress like a scientist- white shirt or jaba, jeans/ crazy hair….. but should not wear best clothes or party clothes. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey, we had the most returns ever! The results were very positive. Where issues were raised we will look into how we can improve.
