Recent Success Story - Orthopedic Specialty Group
Orthopedic Specialty Group (OSG) of Fairfield, CT. embarked on a major expansion. They
planned on building a new facility, including a surgical center, near their existing
building. They went into the project with demanding time constraints, and a very limited
budget. Any proposed solution needed to be sensitive to these needs.
Bishop Construction was the developer/contractor hired to construct this state of the
art building. Joe Grosso, president of Bishop, saw a great benefit in choosing Inner Space
Systems to provide a majority of the casework for this facility. In the past, Joe would
have used a local cabinet maker/millworker to provide these cabinets. However due to
the large quantity of casework needed, and in a fairly short time frame, he was
convinced that the modular casework product offered by us offered the best solution
given the time and budgetary constraints. Additionally, the final product was of very
high quality, and the cost was right in line with their budget. This would not have been
possible with millwork.
The product was manufactured in a large factory, thereby being consistent from room
to room, and could be shipped out complete 6 weeks from ordering the product. Bishop
contractors was to install the product, and that process would take half the time as
installing custom millwork. The end result was that OSG received the highest quality
casework at a competitive price, in time to open their new facility. OSG also has the
luxury of a 10 year warranty on the product-with the ability to easily change or move a
