New Vacancy Within the Company for Area Manager
Carrier Landscapes Ltd require a Permanent Area Manager to help provide a professional service and
expand the company in line with its growth plans. The company has been established for 26 years, based
in the East Midlands and has an excellent reputation for quality, reliability and service.
The position will be based on a good salary, with company vehicle provided. A start date of July 2015.
Job Purpose and Responsibilities
To be in charge of own geographical area within the business ensuring of smooth running of day to day
projects, managing site staff and building good relationships with clients.
As Area Manager, you will report directly to the Production Manager and have responsibility for a number
of projects. You will work closely with our clients Site Managers and Surveyors and our estimating team to
formulate plans to ensure that all projects within your area achieve sales and production targets.











To liase with clients at different levels on a regular basis
To incorporate to daily duties the company mission statement and vision
To ensure Health and Safety requirements are complied to by staff whilst working on sites and
projects
To view and price commercial and domestic work within area
Good organizational skills and able to work under pressure
To have a flexible and hands on attitude.
Organize works schedules and problem solve as necessary
The ability to motivate people
Good analytic skills
To be able to work in a team
A good communicator with different levels
Expected Qualifications and Experience






To have at least 5 years within the landscaping or groundworks industry
Hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent in horticulture/landscaping industry
SMSTS or equivalent in Health & Safety
GSCE in English and Maths/equivalent good standards
Full Clean driving licence
CSCS card, Manager and professional level – desirable
