entry form - Changemakers

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Powering Economic Opportunity: Create a World that Works competition.
You can share your project here with an online community of funders and potential
supporters. Important tips for success:







Read the Guidelines and Criteria and Welcome Letter. These documents will help you complete
the competition entry form.
If your project is an idea, or in the pilot stage, please tell us about your plans for social impact and
spreading your project to other regions. Please be especially clear and specific about how you
will implement your project and its potential social impact.
Bring your story to life! Upload videos and supporting documents to your entry form under the
“media” tab.
Invite people you know to give you feedback about your project, and then revise and refine it
using the feedback you receive.
Take a look at the other projects, and feel free to share your thoughts, connect with other
entrants, and build new partnerships. Use the feedback you receive from comments posted on
your project to edit and improve your entry form before the competition deadline.
The sooner you share your project, the more exposure and insight you will gain from the
community!
Changemakers and the competition judges will not consider material not included in the entry
form (including comments and links to websites) for this competition. Please be sure to complete
all the critical information on your entry form.

INNOVATION
To show that your project is innovative, your entry form should describe a unique model of systems
change and your paradigm-shifting solution to critical issues in a particular field, especially in a resourcepoor setting. Your entry form should show the possibility for large-scale expansion and demonstrate a
substantial difference from other projects in the field. However, your project does not have to be entirely
new to be considered innovative. Rather it can be a new approach to an old idea or a way of applying an
old idea in a new way. As you complete your entry form, be sure to incorporate how your project relates
to the theme of this competition.
