Project Development for Transnational Teams Training August 24th-26th 2009 in Kosice, Slovakia Training concept Our experience working with project teams has proven, that the long term success of a project depends often on how the project was started. This is why we designed a process concept for the kick off meeting. In our training participants can experience the stages and acquire knowledge about the essential steps in project management. Also we will show how to use virtual tools to keep up the communication between face to face meetings. Who could benefit from this training? Follow up Virtual training module: Keep the energy high between meetings We will show how to combine online collaboration software with a virtual facilitation learning process Time: 2 h (computer and telephone) Date: Will be decided during the training days Trainer team Kari Österling and Mari Almgren from Stockholm, Sweden have worked as facilitators for many years. Together they have written a book on facilitation and they have developed tools and methods for supporting their clients in driving profitability. Their experience includes global organizations, NGOs, Government and private enterprises and various large EU financed development projects. They hold degrees in Business administration, project management and pedagogy. Juliane Neumann is an experienced facilitator and trainer with a wide range of client groups including high ranking political officers as well as NGOs and private sector. She holds a degree in Political Science with a specialization in organizational development, democratization processes and diversity issues Working with international teams and networks she is dedicated to introduce facilitation methods into virtual environments to improve global cooperation.
