Hair Removal
PHOTONIUS™ has selective filters for cutting the different wavelengths spectrum, offering much
more effective and safer treatments. In addition, there is a specific filter for dark phototypes. Its
large 10 cm2 spot and high speed make PHOTONIUS™ one of the fastest hair removal systems.
Thanks to its large impact surface area and the selectivity of its filters, PHOTONIUS™ intense pulsed
light photons (polychromatic and non-coherent) reach the hair follicle, following the selective
photothermolysis principle -they are absorbed mainly by the melanin of the follicle-. The thermal
effect caused by this high amount of energy, makes its a highly effective hair removal system.
Photorejuvenation
The special sequential pulse program of PHOTONIUS™ allows heat to focus on the dermis, and thus
obtain a smoother, fresher, brighter and healthier-looking skin. PHOTONIUS™ treats changes caused
by age and the effects of the sun.
Acne Phototherapy
PHOTONIUS™ intense pulsed light has an optional lamp that is specifically designed for this
application. Just by changing the lamp, PHOTONIUS™ generates a blue spectrum light that acts on
the porphyrins produced by the bacteria in acne.
