[Doha, December 29th, 2015] - This afternoon, six Paris Saint-Germain players took time out from their
training camp at Qatar’s Aspire Zone complex, where they have been based since 27 December, to take part
in some relaxing activities. The players were split into two groups and had a chance to explore Doha through
a series of activities organized by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) including a round of golf, a stroll along the
corniche and a visit of Katara cultural village.
Edinson Cavani, Layvin Kurzawa, Marquinhos, Blaise Matuidi, Javier Pastore and Marco Verratti thoroughly
enjoyed their well-earned break before the friendly match against Inter Milan at Al Sadd Stadium in Doha.

Marco Verratti, Blaise Matuidi and Javier Pastore took
time out from their training sessions to try their hand at
golf, one of the most popular sports in Qatar. After
exploring the course in a golf buggy, the players went
head-to-head on the putting green at Doha Golf Club, the
country’s oldest golf club. Pastore’s golfing skills match his
footballing prowess, and he took the opportunity to teach
his team-mates a thing or two about the game... all in good
humour, of course.
The afternoon continued with a visit to the Katara cultural village, Qatar’s leading arts center and hotbed of
Arab culture. After visiting the village’s main attractions, the three players stopped off for a photo opportunity
and a chat with one of the winners of the My Dream Trip competition, organized by QTA to celebrate the
launch of its custom “Trip Generator”.
Edinson Cavani, Layvin Kurzawa and Marquinhos,
meanwhile, took a stroll on scooters and hoverboards along
the Doha Corniche. Layvin Kurzawa and Marquinhos even did
a little dance to celebrate Qatar Winter Tour!
For Kurzawa, this was his first opportunity to see Doha’s
stunning skyline, including the vast skyscrapers of the business
district and the Museum of Islamic Art, a remarkable
architectural masterpiece.
The three players also took time out to relax and enjoy a
snack at the water’s edge, where they chatted with the
second winner of the My Dream Trip competition and signed
autographs.

Champions League three years in a row. The women’s team meanwhile reached the final of the UEFA Champions League
last year, and the handball team has already won six domestic titles.
- Off the pitch: the Club’s annual revenues have increased fivefold to reach €484 million in the 2014/2015 season, while
sponsor revenue has been multiplied by 13.
