Assessment Blueprint Levels of Thinking / Questioning in the Course Use this chart as a tool to plan out your student assessment items for the course. In the left-hand column, note the ways in which students will be assessed in the course (paper, midterm, labs, and soon). Next, decide what the weighting will be toward students’ mark in the course. Then consider what levels of Bloom’s taxonomy will be emphasizes in these assessment items; o Does your exam have questions at all levels of Bloom’s taxonomy? o Does your course emphasize the level of thinking that you want students to achieve in the course?
