Minicross points scoring:
1. Each challenge within the track is worth 2 points meaning there
are a total of 12 points available to the competitor that clears the
whole track without making a mistake.
2. Every mistake made at each challenge results in 2 points being
deducted.
3. Only 4 riders compete in each race and the point allocations for
each placing are on top of the 12 challenge points:
1st- 3 Points
2nd- 2 Points
3rd- 1 Point
4th- 0 Points
4. No points are deducted for falling off providing it’s not in a skills
area.
5. After the challenge race will be the Minicross race which utilises
the same track but with all the challenges removed.
6. Only 4 riders will race at a time and they will be grouped from the
placing results of the challenge round.
7. Points available for the Minicross race are:
1st- 3 Points
2nd- 2 Points
3rd- 1 Point
4th- 0 Points
8. In the event of a tie, each placed tied will be run off to determine
an ultimate winner for the day but no extra points will be given
towards the championship.
9. Every participant will be given a Certificate of achievement but
only the top 3 places will be given medals for their achievement.
