#emhsSocktober! Get ready! We're officially a LIMBS International partner school and will be participating in Socktober. Our campaign will run from Oct. 3 until Oct. 23, 2016 How it works: For every 75 packs of socks sold, LIMBS will provide one leg to an amputee through their partner clinics from around the world. For every set sold, we will also receive one pair of warm socks that can be donated to a local shelter or one pair of funs socks that can be donated to a local children's hospital. Orders: Top Sellers: Option 1: We have set up a webpage, https://www.limbsinternational.org/funding/my campaign?reset=1&id=340, just for our school that will facilitate socks purchased and donations. Option 2: We have order forms that will be distributed to all students who would like to participate. Boy’s Shoe Size 3-9 LIMBS International is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to restore mobility to amputees throughout the developing world by engaging communities and transforming lives through affordable, sustainable prosthetic solutions. The student who sells the most packs throughout the community (#emhsSocktober) will receive a gift card. We would like to ask each person to set a goal of selling at least 1 pack ($12 for 3 pairs) of these fun and colorful socks that will help change lives. If we all sell 75 packs, we will provide 1 leg plus we will receive 75 packs of socks we will get to hand deliver to a local shelter! Get Involved: Student Council, NHS, and MESA will host fun opportunities and activities throughout October and Spirit Week to promote #emhsSoctober, so stay tuned!
