REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR UNIPER GAS STORAGE CAPACITY AUCTION

The purpose of this Circular is to advise Members that the registration for the Uniper Global Commodities SE
(“Uniper”) Virtual Gas Storage Capacity auction is open. On behalf of Uniper, ICE Endex auctions gas storage
services in Germany (NCG-H).
The virtual gas storage service is sold in the form of a Bundled Unit that entitles the customer to hand over quantities
of gas to Uniper and Uniper shall be obliged to return equal quantities of gas upon the customer’s request. The
Auction will comprise of 1 Bundled Unit.
The auction process, product specifications, rules for price determination and capacity allocation are further detailed
in the Auction Rules.
Auction schedule
The auction will be conducted on 23 March 2017 from 11:00 to 12:00 (CET).

Qualification requirements
For the qualification process and requirements please refer to Article II of the Auction Rules. The deadline for
submitting the required qualification documents to participate in the 23 March 2017 auction is 16 March 2017.
Where the Applicant is already a Member of ICE Endex Markets B.V., qualification documents as stated in article
2.2.2 up to and including 2.2.4 do not have to be provided. In all cases Applicants are required to return Annex 1 and
Annex 2 of the Auction Rules, completed and signed.
