Dear Muskingum Valley Garden Society Downtown Beautification Supporter,
Our Downtown Beautification Project for 2016 was perhaps our most successful year. We added
additional containers and completed a fall project for the Secrest Auditorium. We are continuing to partner
with the Chamber and decorate for the Holiday season. It is because of your generous support and
sponsorship that we are able to continue this for our community.
Just to let you know, we had many out of town visitors who reached out to us for ideas for
their community because they were so amazed with our designs. Even with the extreme heat we had, they
still looked beautiful in August.
Our Y-Bridge baskets are supported by general contributions as it is difficult to identify a supporter
for each with plaques. The State Dept. of Highways will not permit signage on the bridge posts. We can only
recognize you with a letter of appreciation. They were truly spectacular this year.
Attached is an order form if you would like to renew or sponsor one for 2017. Please include an email
if you will in case we need to reach you for questions. Our early sign-up has expired so cost will be 110.00 to
reserve a basket for this summer.
