GC PASS 600
Transparent protection on zinc-iron layers for rack and barrel plating
A wide range of passivations meet various requirements. GC PASS passivations provide silver, transparent,
blue, yellow or black coatings on zinc and zinc alloys, depending on desired appearance or corrosion resistance requirement.
GC PASS 600 is a chrome-VI-free, transparent passivation on zinc-iron coatings with an incorporation rate of
iron of 0.5 – 0.7 %.
The transparent, weakly iridescent surfaces provide excellent corrosion resistance and subsequent application of a top coat such as GC TOP 120 or GC TOP 471 produces a perfect and consistent appearance.
GC PASS 600 can be used for rack and barrel plating and is easy to analyse.

GC PASS 650
Black protection on zinc-iron layers for barrel plating
GC PASS 650 is a chrome-VI-free, transparent black passivation on zinc-iron coatings with an incorporation rate
of iron of 0.5 – 0.7 %.
The passivation is cobalt-free and provides black, slightly iridescent surfaces with excellent corrosion resistance.
Subsequently applied GC TOP sealing produce a consistent black appearance.
GC PASS 650 can only be used for barrel plating and is easy to analyse.

GC PASS 670 is a chrome-VI-free, transparent black passivation on zinc-iron coatings with an incorporation
rate of iron of 0.5 – 0.7 %.
The passivation contains cobalt and provides black, slightly iridescent surfaces with excellent corrosion resistance. Subsequently applied sealing, such as GC TOP 427, produce a consistent black appearance.
GC PASS 670 can only be used for rack plating and is easy to analyse.
