Topics presented will focus on special populations, such as geriatrics, and medical problems that span a spectrum of sub-specialties, such as end of life care, prognostication, and wound care. In addition, we will examine growing trends, such as accountable care organizations and information technology systems, and what that means for our patient population and care. We will also address upcoming regulatory changes and review existing definitions. Optional modules from the American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification will be available at an additional fee.
