IN THE COUNTRY II
1. Introduction:
In the country you can live in the town (which is smaller than city) or in
the village (which is smaller than town). Living in the country has advantages
(=something that helps you or that will bring you a good result) as well as
disadvantages (=something that is not good or that causes problems).
My friend who is a farmer lives on a farm and works in the fields (=an area of
land on a farm, usually surrounded by fences or walls, used for growing crops or
keeping animals in). I live in a cabin near his farm (=a small house or shelter,
usually made of wood). I enjoy beauties of nature1 (=all the plants, animals, etc.
in the universe and all the things that happen in it that are not made or caused by
people). There is wonderful wildlife (=birds, plants, animals, etc. that are wild
and live in a natural environment in the north of the country.
