Certificates installation using Google Chrome
It is recommended to use the latest version of the browser, as it will facilitate the
installation of Basic certificate.
1. Select the root certificate
(https://www.eparaksts.lv/en/Assistance/downloads/basic-certificates-forsmart-cards/), download it and clicking on the downloadable file, at the
bottom of browser, choose "Keep".
2. By double-clicking or by right-clicking, open the certificate.
3. Click "Open".
4. To install the selected file on your workstation, you need to select „Install
Certificate... ”
5. Press the button „Next”.
6. Choose "Next".
7. You will receive a notification that the certificate will be installed after the
completion button is pressed. You must press the” Finish”.
8. After a successful installation of the certificate, you will get on the
notification. You must press the „OK”.
Repeat all of 1. to 8. step with the other two certificates - policy and issuing
certificates.
After installing the certificate may need to close and re-open the browser .
Authentication
1. Trying to authenticate, appear below shown the image, and press „OK”
2. Enter PIN code and press „OK”
