Job Description Job Title: Marketing Assistant Reporting to: Head of Sales and Marketing Grade/Salary Band: c £16,500 pa Benefits: Free ticket allocation, staff discounts in outlets and restaurants, free Parking, subsidised Lunch Job Summary Manage the day-to-day running of the office whilst supporting the team in all areas. Responsible for the administration of the department including budgets, meeting minutes, day-to-day requirements as well as monitoring all company websites and social media platforms as set by the marketing manager/marketing officers. Key Duties & Responsibilities To assist the marketing manager and department on a daily basis which includes: Assistance with all promotional activities within the park and hotel Assist the marketing manager on a daily basis with planning, budget management, diary management and event management to name but a few Social media monitoring as per the social media strategy set by the marketing manager/digital marketing officer including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vine Monitor the department’s budget as set by the marketing manager Collate all information for the company’s internal communications and produce material where needed Management of office administration including, but not limited to, minute taking, purchase order management, print management, meeting bookings and management of department filing and communication to other departments Help monitor and maintain the company websites across the business Help maintain and develop the companies CSR programme internally and externally. Research across the industry to feedback to the team on a regular basis Management of literature within the park and hotel on an ongoing basis to ensure that all is up to date and utilised in the best possible way including signage for all areas. Maintain and develop the department’s event/marketing calendar to include PR events and visits ensuring that this is communicated across the business. Maintain and organise the PR rota across the park and hotel and ensure all requirements are fulfilled for each project. Manage the department’s ticket allocation for PR purposes.
