Wow, where has the time gone? Hopefully
during the Spring Break the water in the
playground will dry up, until then please send
extra pants and socks with your child. The
playground tends to get muddy so you may want
to send rubber boots.
We will be decorating eggs the
week of April 10-13. Please
have your child bring in a hard
boiled egg.
On April 21 we will be going to
Just A Dab to paint a pottery
item.
Some parents like to know when
our year end field trips are. We are
going to The Telus World of Science
on June 5 and Ukrainian Village on
June 13. Notes will go home at a
later date.
We have completed our Rocks and Minerals unit and will be
starting our Building and Testing unit. The students will need
a shoebox around the middle of June for a project we will be
doing.
Great job to all the students who have completed their
multiplication facts.
In Language we continue to write stories. We are focusing on
writing a “show not tell.” The students are encourage to
describe what is happening using their senses.
