RE: PUBLICATION OF WATER REDUCTION NOTIFICATION
Umgeni Water, in conjunction with our Municipal Customers, will be publishing an advertisement which is
intended to create stakeholder awareness about the levels of dams within the Umgeni Water Operational Area
and of a possibility of the drought in the event of adequate rainfall not occurring, It is also hoped that
consumers will use water sparingly now and in the near future, The Natal Witness, Mercury, Rising Sun and
North Coast Fever newspapers will publish the advertisement between 19th September 2014 to 25 th September
2014.
Please bring this circular to the attention of the Mayor, Municipal Manager and the Head of Technical Services
at your Water Services Authority,
