HONORARY DEGREES POLICY
Many years ago some prestigious Theological Institutions in some countries started conferring
Honorary Doctorates upon some outstanding Leaders.
To recognize Distinguished Faculty, Educators and other Dignitaries from all walks of life.
To Honour Deserving, Qualified and Experienced Servants of God as well as those who are involved in
the Ministry, Humanitarian Service, who have made significant contributions for the extension of God’s
Kingdom.
For Public Relations purposes.
UJ wishes to Recognise / Motivate outstanding Servants of God (both the Clergy and the Laity) by
awarding Honorary Doctorates.
