LIASON OFFICE
Duplication of activities by WP5 and Secretariat solved during JPI-RPG meeting
in Bonn, 15th May.
Agreement on the creation of a communication strategy by establishing a
permanent table with the 3 concerned DGs via the J-AGE portofolio (WP5DG
CNCT). First exploratory enquiry sent to J-AGE PO (new, now Mr Horst
Kraemer).
The Liason Office is about to create a novel structured communication platform
with DG CONNECT, DG SANCO (Unit in Charge of the EIP-AHA), and with POs in
charge of the Joint Programming and Ageing dossiers at DG RTD. These
connections are aimed at implementing and strenghtening the JPI dialogue with
EC operative DGs and to follow up the possibility to a prosecution of J-AGE
after its official “expiration date” (J-AGE2). This was discussed already at SH
event among DG RTD and DG CNCT staff.
