School Games News Congratulations to all the runners who participated in the recent Primary Cross Country finals. A great effort was made with all our qualifiers completing the challenging course. Our competitors were: Year 3/4: Sofia, Grace, Poppy, Leon, Jude, Harley, Josh and Leighton. Year 5/6: Tia, Berry, Louis, Jermaine & Archie. Special congratulations to Jessica in Year 6 for qualifying to represent Hastings and Rother at the Sussex School Games Cross Country finals at Hickstead in February. This is a really fantastic achievement and she will compete against the eight other School Games areas in Sussex. Lacey-Mae’s Fundraising Challenge On 16th December Lacey-Mae in Year 2 will be having her beautiful long blond hair cut off to raise money for ‘The Little Princess Trust’. This charity makes wigs for children that have lost their hair following cancer treatment. Lacey-Mae will also be donating the hair she has had cut off. If you would like to find out more or sponsor Lacey-Mae you can visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Rachel-Clancy Bexhill Lions Santa Dash On Saturday 3rd December Bexhill Lions will be holding their annual Santa Dash to raise money for local charities. The event will take place on Bexhill promenade with a choice of a two kilometre or a five kilometre course. The cost for entry is £11.50 for adults and £6.50 for children, including a free Santa suit. For more information visit www.bexhill-lions.org Worship The theme for this week has been ‘Peace’.
