TWO DAY CONFERENCE
THE STRATEGIC CHOICES
FOR SPACE
The Royal Aeronautical Society President’s
Conference, inaugurated in 2013, aims to
be the premier conference in its class for the
international aerospace community and one
of the most auspicious events of its kind. The
2014 President’s Conference will showcase
the work being undertaken in the UK and
around the world to roll back the frontiers of
space exploration and increase its commercial
exploitation.
The Conference will examine future
opportunities and challenges, novel and
contentious solutions, and the potential
benefits of pushing the boundaries further.
It will ask questions and seek solutions. The
papers will be presented by distinguished
speakers who are pre-eminent in their fields.
The wide-ranging Conference will take a
global perspective, and will cover the strategic
challenges; the economics of commercial
spaceflight; the opportunities presented by
partnerships; the strategies for innovation and
growth; and the UK Government’s vision for the
future.
