were our first project in Canada

The project delivery specialists
PM Group and Canadian company, Gas Liquids Engineering
(GLE) have signed an agreement to work together for the
provision of engineering services in the gas processing industry in Canada.
Colm O’Mahony, Energy Sector Director, PM Group, noted that the alliance
would strengthen the Group’s presence in a very important segment of
the energy market and provide challenging and exciting work for our Irish
offices. Doug MacKenzie, President of
GLE, said “PM Group with this Enterprise Agreement, puts at our disposal
literally hundreds of their 1700 person
who are skilled in geographically remote project management, process
piping design and drafting, electrical
and controls, and project cost and progress reporting. All of these skill sets
are more than 100% utilized in the
Alberta marketplace.”

Liquids Engineering
Gas Liquids Engineering (GLE) is an
innovative, multi-discipline engineering firm specializing in natural gas
purification and liquids recovery.
GLE’s highly competent engineers are
supported by drafting and electrical
design departments during all facility
builds and retrofits. Our capabilities
span the entire process, from initial
design and engineering, procurement
and construction management to start
-up, and performance enhancement.
GLE was founded in Alberta, Canada
in 1987.
Since its inception, GLE has developed

Recent Projects
Shell Corrib - Terminal &
Pipeline
In 2010 PM Group completed the construction management for the development of this onshore terminal for processing natural gas from the Corrib
field in Mayo Ireland. 5,000,000 construction man-hours were expended
on the project with PM Group winning
two separate awards from Shell for
exceeding 1,000,000 man-hours without a lost time injury. Shell will operate the terminal which is designed to
process up to 350 400MMscfd.
PM Group provided procurement, construction management, secondment
and environmental consultancy services. In 2012 PM Group has personnel seconded into Shell’s team for the
9km onshore pipeline and tunnel construction and the gas plant operations
and project commissioning.

Energy - the first joint
GLE/PM Group project
The plant is a ‘deep cut’ sour gas
processing facility for 400MMscfd
which includes inlet separation facilities, sour gas amine processing, molsieve gas hydration and turbo expansion along with a demethaniser column followed by sales gas compression.
SDE awarded GLE and PM Group the
FEED stage in May 2011. PM Group’s
scope includes project management,
sales gas compression, product storage, process and utility heat medium
and utilities, electrical (LV) systems
and field instrumentation.

Kinsale Energy (Petronas)
Since 2005 PM Group has operated a
managed services contract for Kinsale
Energy (Petronas) including project
management, process and mechanical
engineering for various field upgrades
including the Seven Heads satellite
field tieback and production modules
off the south coast of Ireland. We have
managed both maintenance and design activities including process drain
upgrades, condition surveys and compressor upgrade projects. The current
project is the SWK Gas Storage Reconfiguration Project which is ongoing at
the time of writing.
Current Assignments - Saudi
Aramco
Aramco Overseas Company (AOC)
supports Saudi Aramco and its affiliates in fulfilling their role to provide a
stable, safe and reliable supply of energy to the world. AOC is located in The
Hague, The Netherlands and PM
Group has been providing Outsourced
Technical Services (OTS) resources to
AOC since 2009. PM Group personnel
typically form part of an AOC Owners
Engineers teams and our technical
resources sit in EPC firms offices in
locations as diverse as Korea, Italy and
the UK. Our personnel oversee the
technical and design aspects of the
project and currently we have personnel seconded in disciplines such as
cost management, process / mechanical and instrumentation and automation, etc. These services are not only
an important part of our business but
they raise the PM Group profile and
can help us identify other opportunities for the company.
New Expertise
Jennie McGrath—
Senior Process Engineer
Jennie is a senior process engineer
with 10 years process experience. Previously. Jennie has worked
in China, India, UK and Ireland with
WorleyParsons, Fluor and Foster
Wheeler. She was Deputy Lead Process Engineer for large team of Process
Engineers in Beijing, China on the
FEED and Detailed Design
of greenfield Natural Gas Plants in
China.
Gerard Kenny —Senior
Mechanical Engineer
Gerard is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with 9 years Mechanical Engineering and Project Engineering experience on FEED, Detailed Design, Construction, and commissioning projects
in the Oil and Gas Industry. He has
worked in the UK and Kazakhstan on
JV projects with Foster Wheeler and
Fluor while with WorleyParsons before joining PM Group.
