income and meet one of the following criteria:
1. Layoff, Termination
2. Permanent Closure / Substantial Layoff
3. Self-Employed / Out of Business
4. Displaced Homemaker

Dislocated Worker
Adult and Dislocated Worker Programs:
Follow-up services must be made available for enrolled
participants who are placed in unsubsidized employment for a
minimum of twelve months following the first day of
employment. A minimum of three contacts with the client must
be made in the first sixty days after employment plus at least one
other contact during the subsequent thirty days.
Follow-up services include, but are not limited to:
• Additional career planning and counseling;
• Contact with the participant’s employer, including assistance
with work-related problems that may arise;
• Peer support groups;
• Information about additional educational opportunities; and/or
• Referral to Supportive Services available in the community.
