Energy- The food we consume supplies us with the
necessary calories to burn.
Nourishment- Certain vitamins, minerals, and food
materials allow our body to run efficiently and
effectively.

Malnutrition or undernourishment is when we are not
receiving the necessary foods for a healthy life.

UN estimates 850 million people in world are
undernourished.




Worldwide, the total number of undernourished people has
not changed much in several decades.

without the use of synthetic or industrially
produced pesticides and fertilizers or the raising of
livestock without hormones, antibiotics, and
