A. Survey 20 of your peers to determine the percentage of individuals who have experienced the
same type of costly event. Pick an event that might potentially involve an insurance claim.
Examples: orthodontic work, sports injury, or lost cellphone.
B. Use data from an online search or survey responses to estimate an average cost per event. Then
calculate an estimate for the entire survey group.
