school and school system. Thank you for
helping us by keeping students at home or
picking up from school when ill and running
fever because this helps minimize an
outbreak within the school system.
WCES NEWSLETTER
October 2012
From the desk of Dr. Deariso:
We all know the job of educating our kids is
a shared responsibility. The better they do
in school, the better chance they have on
getting scholarship money for college and
finding successful jobs after college.
Research shows that parent and family
members must be active partners in the
learning process. You should always
remember that you are a part of the team
that is educating your child, and your
children will do better in class when they see
that you are in touch with their teachers.
The holiday season is just around the
corner. We will be having several projects
coming up to help others, and local
organizations. Our November food drive for
the “I CAN” project is always a success
with your support. Thank you all for your
support and donations. After the
Thanksgiving holidays, collecting for “Toy
for Tots” campaign will begin. We want
students to learn to share with others who
are less fortunate. Please drop off your
donations to Mrs. Betty White, WCES
Parent Coordinator.

school we had over 300 students with
perfect attendance. I am pretty sure this is

we have not had a lot of illnesses within the
