Short title

1. This rule may be cited as the Lotto (On-line) Amendment Rule (No. 1)
1995.
Rule amended

2. This rule amends the Lotto (On-line) Rule 1989.
Amendment of s 3.1
˙
3. Section 3.1, after ‘These rules’—
insert—
‘, including schedules 1 to 5,’.
Amendment of s 3.4

4. Section 3.4, after ‘form of lotto’—
insert—
‘, or to a game of pools under the Pools (On-line) Rule 1990,’.
Amendment of s 10.3

‘13.3A.(1) For a prize in a game of lotto, other than a prize in division 1,
the amount of the prize distributed may be rounded to the nearest amount
consisting of a 5 cent multiple.

‘(2) Amounts deducted from prizes in rounding under subsection (1)
must be added to the division 1 prize pool.
‘(3) Amounts added to prizes in rounding under subsection (1) must be
deducted from the division 1 prize pool.
‘(4) This section applies despite the percentages specified under
section 13.1.’.
Amendment of s 14.1

7.(1) Section 14.1, ‘in any game of lotto’—
omit, insert—
‘for a game of lotto (other than for draw 2 of Saturday Gold Lotto)’.
(2) Section 14.1, ‘same type:’—
omit, insert—
‘same type (that is, Thursday Gold Lotto, draw 1 of Saturday Gold Lotto
or Super 66):’.
(3) Section 14.1—
insert—
‘(2) If there is no prize winner for the division 1 prize pool for draw 2 of
Saturday Gold Lotto, the prize pool jackpots in the way described in
subsection (1), but there is no limit to the number of consecutive games
from which the prize pool may jackpot.’.
