Family Support Services (FSS) programs provide a range of services for people who have developmental disabilities and live at home with their families. Dr. Hazlitt is also a SCIP instructor and a member of the Arc of Steuben’s Autism Resource Team. She specializes in behavioral assessments, developing behavioral interventions, and training providers and caregivers in research-based theories and techniques. The objective is to provide caregivers with effective strategies for responding to crisis situations and diffusing aggressive behavior.
