These buildings have massive energy consumptions and CO2 emissions as electricity is generated on coal fired power plants. Solutions • For 3 distinct malls in the Philippines, the Danish consortium DEEP to reduce consumption, emissions and costs of operating large malls. Danish know-how, technologies and architecture will be brought together with local partners in a combination of research & commercialization. • Clean Solutions has identified opportunities and facilitated dialogue with Philippine mall developers and Danish partnership group all the way to signature. Status & results • Agreements for energy efficiency proposals signed between DEEP and Waltermart and World Trade Centre malls. • Asia’s first Energy+ Mall: Robinson with 17 Malls builds 1-2 new/year incl.
