Drawing: Five Figures Playing Their Favorite Game or Sport
Criteria:
 Five or more figures together playing the SAME game or sport.
 Pose in action positions in front of a mirror or have a friend pose for you. You can
use a magazine picture as a reference for looking at a particular movement of a
figure, BUT DO NOT copy the entire photo as is… that’s called Plagiarism.
 Begin each figure using the Mass Drawing technique in a very light color.
 Add the horizon line with trees, buildings, etc.
 Create a completed realistic drawing in full color using crayons, markers, chalk,
color pencils, oil pastels, etc.
 Include objects in the background (trees, bushes, buildings, other spectators, fences,
water, clouds, etc.
 Add color clothing, faces and details to both the figures to the background.
 Fill ALL of the paper with some type of color. No white paper showing.
 This SHOULD NOT look like a mass drawing sketch when you are finished. Cover
up the initial Mass Drawing sketch with bright colors. It should look like a
completed drawing with details, shading, color, etc like the examples shown below.
